Leadership Mentoring
What doesn’t kill you makes you stronger!
We’ve all come across this philosophical maxim that’s often used in the world of work to spur us on and power us through. But with over 42% of global workers currently reporting symptoms of burnout, put quite simply, the way we work in today’s fast-paced, around the clock world is not making us stronger - it’s killing us.
Why do you need a mental health mentor?
Just because you’re great at taking care of your job doesn’t mean you’re great at taking care of yourself. In fact, in my years of experience both as a worker and supporting others in their work, the best staff members, leaders and business owners are usually the worst at keeping themselves well.
Perhaps it felt easy at first. You had motivation, energy and the world at your feet. You had the drive and passion to be everything to everyone whilst your business turned over a healthy profit and you still had enough time and enthusiasm to socialise in the evenings. But as time’s gone on you realise your energy and health have started to wane, your love for the job has disappeared and your business along with staff morale is starting to suffer.
So whether you’re a Chief Exec, Line Manager, Head Teacher or Sole Trader you have a choice: allow your work, wellbeing and profits to suffer or start seeing yourself as a vital cog in the machine that needs regular servicing to keep everything running smoothly.
And that’s where I come in.
Together we will work on…
